Tom Wright – Director of Technology

Former Stomping Grounds: Grew up in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Wright State University as an English major. When he wasn’t studying technical writing, he was presumably wooing co-eds with Shakespearean sonnets or by fixing their computers.

Technical Talents: Extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of platforms, including  Microsoft ASP.NET, PHP, WordPress, Drupal, SQL Server, mySQL, AJAX, XML and Web Services, SOAP, LINQ, jQuery, JSON, and the list goes on and on…

Sage Experience: With more than 12 years professional experience in Internet/IT-related businesses, he has honed his skills to bring excellence in programming for big name clients including:  Procter and Gamble, Macy’s, Luxottica, John Morrell, Sara Lee, Cincinnati Bell, Convergys, AK Steel, Cintas, U.S. Playing Card and many more. Beyond his technical experience, he brings management and leadership skills as the frontman for HyperDrive’s digital production team, teaching the other young grasshoppers his wax-on, wax-off programming techniques and finesse.

Slice of Life: When he’s not busy being the Resident Geek-in-Charge at HyperDrive, Tom and his wife operate a boutique bakery, where she crafts cake-pops and other sweet treats that will knock your socks off! His idea of health-food is sushi, he is a long-suffering Bengals fan and has an intense fear of birds and large flying insects.
