Charlie Kehrer – Programmer

Hometown Advantage: Born and raised in Cincinnati, Charlie spent his young-adult life travelling coast to coast, eventually braving the ocean depths as a drummer on a cruise line. After a stint as a musician, he came back to his roots and graduated from Cincinnati State with a degree in Applied Science majoring in Multimedia and Web Design. He also has MySQL/PHP certification through the University of Illinois.

Tech Specs: Skilled in CMS(WordPress), CSS2, CSS3, MySQL, MSSQL, PHP, Javascript, JQuery, XHTML, HTML5, Illustrator, Fireworks, Photoshop. Recently earned his ExactTarget SOAP API Certification.

Previous Prowess: Before coming to Hyperdrive, he worked for 3 years at Edward Harris designing and developing sites for small local businesses for a wide range of clientele.

Passions Outside of Programming: When he’s not creating the latest and greatest code, he can be found draining pints of craft beer at the Reds stadium or rocking out to live music…with a bottle of Flying Dog in his hand preferably.
