Brian Szolosi – Programmer/Designer

The Life of Brian: Brian grew up in Columbus, Ohio and was born as ‘lucky number seven’ into a large family with eight children.  Not surprisingly, he counts himself lucky to now be an uncle to 12 nieces and nephews (with two more coming soon).

Bobcat Pride: He is a graduate from Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication, where he majored in Interactive Multimedia.  Before starting at HyperDrive, he worked for the company MindLeaders, where he fine-tuned his Photoshop & Flash skills making graphics and animations for their online learning courseware.  But, his real passion has become designing and building creative online marketing solutions for HyperDrive’s clients.

Best of Both Worlds: Brian has a great mix of both Design & Development skills, which he uses daily for many of HyperDrive’s clients.  He is proficient in Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and ExactTarget.  And, he knows his share of programming languages as well, being most familiar with XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, ActionScript, AMPscript, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Rad Recreations: When he’s not busy at work for HyperDrive, he’s an avid movie-goer.  His favorite food is pizza – and, he is doing his best to remain patient in awaiting the opening of a LaRosa’s Pizzeria franchise in Columbus, Ohio.  He also enjoys playing a game of Euchre with family & friends or beating his nephews in a game of basketball.  To stay abreast of trends in design & technology, he spends a lot of time reading design & tech blogs using his iPad (which was the most coveted raffle prize at the 2010 HyperDrive Christmas Party).  Did we mention he’s lucky?
